FRAMEWORK FIRST is a fast-growing Modular Home Builder looking for driven and goal-focused individuals to join our team, and this time we are seeking an experienced Painter/Drywaller! (Official Title: Finishing Specialist)

We are looking for someone who is experienced with hanging drywall, tape & texture, and interior/exterior painting.

As a Painter/Drywaller you can be expected to do various types of work in the field that span across multiple trades. FRAMEWORK FIRST is looking for individuals who are proficient in painting, drywall, finish work and other trade skills.

The Painter/Drywaller must be efficient in performing tasks that they are knowledgeable in and quick to learn the new skills & trades that will be taught. Expect to work in a fast-paced environment that operates mostly indoors.

Once the house is fully-framed, you should be able to confidently hang drywall and screw, according to current code. Painters/Drywallers should also know how to tape & texture WELL without seeing any seams or uneven joints; quality is very important.

Have experience with interior & exterior painting. Capable of brush painting, roller painting, and spraying doors and casing.

About 90% of work is done indoors at the FRAMEWORK FIRST factory, which allows for faster dry time, better work conditions and consistent work conditions that are not dependent on weather conditions.

About 10% of the work will be on-site, which typically involves minor interior touch-ups from transportation damages, if any. Exterior work is usually rolled & brushed on-site for trim work and siding boards that are installed after installation.

You will be required to explain previous jobs where you have experienced these roles & responsibilities with examples. If you have your own tools and they are in good condition, you may use them (unless they are determined to be unsafe.) Tools will be provided.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Job Specifics:

• Location: 1610 Moffett Street, Salinas, CA
• Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4:00PM
• Pay Range: $26 - $34 per hour, depending on experience & skill.
• In-Person: At the Framework First factory
• Status: Looking for someone to start immediately.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
