Paramedic (PRN)

We are seeking a proactive and skilled (PRN) Paramedic to join our Emergency Department team. The Paramedic acts as a vital link between patients, families, and hospital staff, helping to identify and resolve issues promptly while providing excellent patient care.

Job Type: PRN Days
Starting Pay: $25.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Taking vital signs
• Venipuncture and IV placement
• Wound cleaning and care
• Operating lab equipment, performing point-of-care testing, and quality controls
• Understanding lab instrument operation
• Monitoring and restocking supplies
• Reporting equipment issues to the nurse manager
• Updating and maintaining patient databases per procedures
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor or department head

Qualifications:

• EMT-Paramedic License, with at least 5 years of experience required in hospital setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred
• At least 1 year of laboratory experience
• Dependable and committed to delivering quality emergency care
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of hospital staff and medical personnel

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Experience:

• Hospital ER: 5 years (Required)
• Laboratory: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• NREMT Paramedic (Required)
