Part time Clinical Director - The person in this position will be responsible for overseeing all direct services and treatment program staff. He/she will supervise the coordination of services with outside community agencies or consultants. In addition to staff supervision, this position requires oversight and completion of all required weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports/data for all programs. In addition, they will be responsible for ensuring staff follows all contract requirements and job duties per policies and procedures as well as assisting Executive Director and Administrative staff in program and policy development.
This is an excellent opportunity for those in Academia or pursuing Doctoral studies to supplement income. The ideal candidate can dedicate 20 hours per week to the role and has flexible schedule. Compensation includes an hourly rate of $40-$50 per billable hour and a flat rate salary stipend per month. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and direct all Program Staff in implementation of programs
- Ensure clinical services are Evidenced based and outcome measures are utilized to ensure effective service provision
- Review each employee’s job performance on a yearly basis (or more often if necessary).
- Make recommendations to the Executive Director regarding employee advancement and retention.
- Interview, hire and terminate employees.
- Responsible for training or identifying training for all Program staff and oversight of staff professional development
- Oversee the development of staff work schedule and assign responsibilities to ensure all program services are being provided, as contracts require.
- Analyze situations and take necessary actions to provide crisis intervention. Interpreting and implementing OPS Family Care, LLC policies and procedures regarding crisis intervention as appropriate
- Act as an OPS Family Care, LLC representative/liaison with other agencies.
- Participate in all administrative program meetings to include but not limited to, contract negotiations, quarterly provider meetings, and quarterly community collaboration meetings.
- Oversee the completion of timely regular billing
- Ensure completion of all weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports as required.
- Complete quality improvements and implementation as required by outpatient program contracts.
- Oversight of all aspects of treatment for all clients participating in any direct services.
- Coordinate client treatment with the other OPS Family Care, LLC programs and Staff.
- Periodic review of outpatient treatment modalities and Evidenced Based modalities for appropriateness of fit to client population.
- Assist and make recommendations to the Executive Director regarding program design, development, and implementation of treatment and all direct service programs.
- Perform chart audits and file reviews on a monthly basis, initiating corrective action as needed.
- Report to the Executive Director any unusual incidents or behaviors that could indicate other problems.
- Ensure that all required policies and procedures of OPS Family, LLC are followed
- Assist Executive Director and other Administrative Staff in program and policy development
- Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of OPS Family Care, LLC.
- Reports to Executive Director
- Assist with Assessments, as necessary and carries a small case load of 5-10 direct service hours per week
Required qualifications: Independent Practice License in the State of Louisiana, Experience engaging with Medicaid Managed Care and understanding of State Medicaid Behavioral Health regulations, Supervisory/Administrative experience of at least 3 years in a Behavioral Health Outpatient setting, Training and or Certification in Evidenced Based Practices (ie. TFCBT, EMDR, DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing)
The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, time management ability, and be able to work independently.
