Part-Time Delivery Driver and Sales Person

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Delivery Driver and Sales Person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering materials to our clients across the Western Slope of Colorado, as well as identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The successful candidate will ensure timely and safe deliveries while also actively engaging with customers to promote and sell our products.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a box truck to deliver construction materials to customers throughout the Western Slope.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring all deliveries are accurate, secure, and meet customer expectations.
• Operate a forklift to assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary (forklift experience preferred but not required).
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving on highways and local roads.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, addresses, and any issues encountered.
• Assist in the warehouse with loading/unloading and organizing materials when not making deliveries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions.
• Provide feedback from customers to the company to help improve products and services.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Colorado driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a box truck legally on highways.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong knowledge of the Western Slope area and ability to navigate efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery schedules.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
