Part-time Kitchen Aide

Are you passionate about providing nutritious meals in a dynamic school environment? GreenWood Charter School in Harrisville is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals for approximately 400 students and staff members daily.
- Assist with daily cleaning tasks in the kitchen and lunchroom.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
- Adhere to safe food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Possession of a valid Food Handlers Permit.
- Availability for 15-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling.
- Must pass a fingerprinted background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: Dependent upon experience.
