Full job description

The Stamford Board of REALTORS, a not-for-profit professional trade organization, seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our real estate association as a Marketing Associate/Association Executive Assistant. The ideal candidate will be a team player and possess strong administrative, communication, and marketing skills, as well as an interest in the real estate industry. This multifaceted, part-time role will involve supporting the executive team in managing the day-to-day operations of the association while also contributing to the development and execution of marketing initiatives.

The position can be a devised in a hybrid work model with the expectation that the Associate will be in the office 2 days/week. This position will be based in the SBOR’s office in Stamford and is part-time.

Travel is required to industry conferences and meetings outside of Stamford.


Marketing Associate Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of marketing strategies to promote the association's services, events, and initiatives
  • Create engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, website, newsletters, and press releases
  • Coordinate and execute digital marketing campaigns, including managing social media accounts and online advertising efforts
  • Assist in the creation and production of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and promotional videos
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and report on key insights
  • Support the planning and execution of membership events and meetings, including trade shows, webinars, and workshops.

Association Executive Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the association executive, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements
  • Assist in the planning and execution of association events, conferences, and meetings. Some travel will be required
  • Prepare and distribute relevant documents, presentations, and reports for executive meetings and events
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of membership data, and other pertinent information
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and effective communication within the association


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (will consider equivalent work experience)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant marketing software
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing best practices
  • Basic understanding of real estate industry trends and concepts is a plus
  • Prior experience in administrative support and marketing roles is preferred
  • Ability and desire to work at SBOR events outside of office hours
  • Must have own transportation
