Part-time Nonprofit Operations Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Nonprofit startup for autism seeks an Operations Manager to join our dynamic team and support our mission of increasing the availability of services for children with autism and lowering the cost of these services to their families in the greater Cincinnati area. Reporting to the Director, the Operations Manager is responsible for administrative functions, organizing an online auction, soliciting items for auction, and event coordination/promotion, among other projects. This individual will bring experience and skills in people management, systems thinking, donor stewardship, financial management, and nonprofit innovation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administrative support
- Organization of online auction
- Event coordination and promotion
- Soliciting items for auction
- Research and apply emerging best practices in donor database administration, direct mail appeals, gift processing, and online fundraising
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Evident passion for our mission and interested in making a difference.
- Excellent proficiency with MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Organized, strong attention to detail.
- Strong writing, research, financial, and data analysis skills.
- Comfortable asking people to donate time as volunteers or auction items.
- Willing to learn about the way autism affects individuals, families, and the community.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
