About the Role:

We seek a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Advocacy & Event Planning Coordinator. This is a part-time, remote position where you will be responsible for planning and executing five advocacy events annually and working diligently to develop our patient/caregiver database.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and execute five key advocacy events per year, ensuring they run smoothly and achieve their objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, donors, sponsors, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
Develop and implement strategies to increase patient engagement and support.
Collaborate with internal teams to create event materials for patients.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of advocacy initiatives and events.
Ensure all activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
Travel to five events nationwide is required.

Required Skills & Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
Proven track record of planning and managing successful events.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in using digital tools and platforms for remote work.
A passion for patient advocacy and a commitment to improving access to patient care and treatment

Education:

Bachelor's degree in event planning, public relations, health administration, social work, or related field is preferred.
