ECCA Payroll+ is a full-stack, HR service provider with solutions for payroll and tax; time and attendance; benefits administration; and employee management.

As a Sales Representative, you will play an integral role in driving the growth of our HR solutions by identifying and acquiring new business opportunities in the Alexandria, VA, area. You will work closely with prospective clients to understand their HR needs and demonstrate how our solutions can meet and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand prospective clients' pain points.
  • Present and demonstrate our HR solutions to prospective clients, highlighting features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients to build trust and ensure a smooth sales process.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to stay updated on the latest product features, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, contracts, and agreements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.


  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in payroll, human resources, or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of HRIS solutions.
  • Prior experience selling SaaS software solutions is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a similar field is preferred.
