Full job description
Premier Children’s Therapy Center is currently seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, responsible, and creative Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Roswell area to provide quality pediatric therapy services to children birth to 18. We have a fully equipped, 6000+ square-foot facility including two large sensory gyms, a kitchen, fine motor work rooms and smaller rooms for one on one treatment. We are a multi-disciplinary clinic with OT, PT and speech and also accept private insurance. Please share this listing if you know a qualified candidate!
- This will be an independent contractor position (1099); paid per visit
- This position has great potential and is very flexible. Set your own hours (although must be available from 3-6:00 pm four days a week).
- No productivity requirements! Therapists are paid late cancel/no-show fees.
- Significantly higher payment rate for evaluations than regular therapy visits
- Treat children in clinic setting and/or local private schools and childcare settings
- Must be currently licensed in Georgia
- Must have pediatric experience, especially with autism, developmental delays, and sensory processing.
- Highly prefer experience with feeding
- Prefer candidates who are CAQH credentialed
- Must demonstrate an ability to work with families and caregivers to incorporate therapeutic techniques into the interests and routines of the family.
- Must have the ability to evaluate and treat disorders and delays that affect our patient’s ability to perform daily activities
- Adhere to all rules indicated with the American Occupational Therapy Association Code of Ethics.
- This offer is conditioned upon your ability to perform the essential functions of this position, as determined by your performance and meeting any educational, technical, and/or experience standards as defined by your job description.
- The offer is further conditioned upon your signed acknowledgment of the Employee Handbook, your successful passing of a background check, and your eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Work in close relationship with the clinical team to provide high quality, multidisciplinary (OT, PT, SLP) treatment.
- Work in close relationship with the administrative team to provide high quality, administrative customer service.
- Know and become compliant with HIPAA and how it relates to the scope of the position.
- Work efficiently and effectively to complete all clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Continuing education assistance offered yearly based on hours worked
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $68.00 - $80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
