- Demonstrate a desire to continue your professional growth
- Have experience working with a variety of diagnoses, including autism, ADHD, and general developmental delays
- Have a passion for providing neurodiversity-affirming care, including a strong desire to continue learning from the neurodivergent community
- Have experience with using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
- Have experience working with gestalt language processors (GLPs) and/or have extensive knowledge in implementing this approach
- Have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Have strong organizational skills
- Have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and excellent written/oral communication with colleagues, direct reports, families, and clients
- Enjoy working with children
- Are highly motivated, naturally take initiative, are willing to learn, remain curious, and look to make a larger, positive impact
- You have a current ASHA certification
- You have a current Colorado SLP license
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing direct speech therapy services in our clinic setting
- Evaluating new clients; completing communication assessments that can inform treatment plans in the areas of receptive/expressive language, pragmatic language, articulation, and fluency; writing evaluation reports; and planning and implementing treatment sessions that promote engagement and skill development using a client-centered approach.
- Working collaboratively with the family unit, providing ongoing education that supports clients in reaching their goals.
- Maintaining a 65% productivity rate. We value work/life balance!
Job Type and Compensation
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Salary Range: $70,000-83,000
- Time Away from Work: 3 Weeks PTO. For each year that you are employed at Blume Kids Therapy, you will receive one (1) additional PTO day on your work anniversary. This benefit extends up to five (5) years at Blume, at which point you would have four (4) weeks of PTO.
