Full job description
Central Florida Speech & Hearing Center is seeking a speech-language pathologist to join our team. We are vested in providing unwavering support to employees, quality intervention services and care for the whole family. Our mission is to provide the highest quality speech, language and hearing services, always in a caring manner, regardless of a person’s ability to pay. Our goal in the SLP department is for every child to have some way to effectively communicate with their family, teacher and friends.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech/language therapy services to children with varying exceptionalities
- Responsible for evaluations, treatment and report writing/implementation
- Interpret evaluative data to establish measurable goals
- Complete daily progress notes
- Establish and maintain positive collaborative relationship with children and families
- Collaborate with speech-language pathology team on departmental objectives
Skills | Certifications | Requirements
- Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certification of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Current SLP licensure by the state of Florida
- Thorough knowledge of therapy best practices
- Enjoys making a positive difference with children
- Comfortable with a primarily pediatric caseload
