Personal Banker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our team. As a Personal Banker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and assisting them with their banking needs. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with customers.

Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their banking transactions and inquiries
- Open new accounts, including checking, savings, and certificates of deposit
- Process loan applications and assist customers with loan inquiries
- Conduct financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers
- Promote bank products and services to customers, including upselling additional banking products
- Assist with cash management duties, including cash handling and balancing cash drawers
- Perform account maintenance tasks such as updating customer information and processing account closures
- Follow bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and prevent fraud

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in finance or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a customer service and/or sales role, preferably in a banking environment or similar professional environment
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform retail math calculations accurately
- Knowledge of loan processing procedures and documentation requirements
- Familiarity with fraud prevention detection techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using computer systems and banking software
