Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Caregiver

Nursing Assistant Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a trustworthy caregiver that will care for our clients with professionalism and compassion wherever the clients call home. The caregiver will be responsible for implementing our clients’ daily care plan in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with agency policies and industry standards.

Responsabilities

• Provide companionship including social interactions, emotional reassurance and initiate activities that stimulate the mind.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs.
• Perform/assist with essential shopping/errands
• Transporting or escorting the client to medical and other appointments.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Implementing the care plan as instructed
• Complete and maintain records of daily activities, observations, and direct hours of service.

Requierements

• CNA license
• Valid Driver’s license
• Knowledge of home management skills
• Have reliable transportation
• Have a High School Diploma
• Genuine Desire to help seniors
• Documents needed:
• Level 2 Background Check
• Social Security Card
• Authorization to work in the US (if applicable)
• Valid driver's license and car insurance
• TB test (PPD or chest X-Ray) results
• Evidence of CPR
• A professional and friendly attitude
• A willingness to work flexible hours, which may include night shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Per diem, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Overtime
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed

Ability to Commute:
