Petroleum Technician Generalist

Superior Equipment Company is seeking a flexible position technician, that can move between roles and cover gaps in services. Someone that is willing to learn as well as be the extra "set of hands" needed and/or to step up when call volumes are high. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment operation, electrical (low and high voltage), mechanical knowledge and know how to conduct themselves on the job site. Overview: ENTRY LEVEL PETROLEUM TECHNICIAN GENERALIST

Job Responsibilities:

- Run petroleum compliance and service calls

- Operate heavy machinery and perform heavy lifting as required

- Provide inventory accountability inspections

- Deliver equipment and parts when needed

- Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations

- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and problem-solving

- Work on projects related to oil and gas industry operations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience with logic controllers and distributed control systems is preferred

- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation and heavy lifting techniques

- Strong understanding of basic math concepts for measurements

- Mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and maintenance tasks

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work requirements

- -Ability to gain OSHA HAZWOPER and ICC U1 as skills increase
