Wyoming Drug is an independent, family-owned and operated pharmacy and gift shop located in Wyoming, MN. We pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly, small-town feel while offering competitive pricing and convenience for our customers.

We are looking for a dependable and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our fast-paced team. Along with processing and filling prescriptions, you will undertake other tasks under the direction of a pharmacist to provide excellent customer service and ensure that the pharmacy runs smoothly. As a pharmacy technician, you must be extremely detail-oriented, calm under pressure, have a pleasant demeanor, and be reliable. You must also possess excellent communication skills when engaging with customers both in-person and on the phone, as well as with co-workers, and have an aptitude for using computers. Part-time or full-time available. Must be willing to work two Saturdays each month.


  • Greet customers in a friendly manner and answer questions
  • Receive prescriptions and check their validity
  • Process prescriptions while ensuring all information is complete and accurate
  • Resolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims)
  • Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions
  • Sort, stock, label medication, and monitor inventory
  • Undertake administrative tasks as assigned
  • Comply with all security measures and quality standards


  • Proven experience as a pharmacy technician, minimum 3 years
  • Experience using pharmacy software(s)
  • Knowledge of how prescription insurance works and how to handle rejected claims
  • Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement
  • Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Reliable with a keen eye for detail
  • Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program
  • Excited about the opportunity to pursue additional certifications, such as getting certified to vaccinate or other advanced certification opportunities that may arise.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
