Full job description

We are looking for a physician to join Aeris medical group. Aeris medical group is a physician rounding group, that utilizes teams of physicians and nurse practitioners to provide medical care to the post-acute patient population. We round in Skilled nursing facilities, transitional care units, as well as assisted living homes. Our providers diagnose, treat, and promote good health practices. As an Aeris physician you will be a key member of our team providing the best care possible to our patients.

You’ll be both a health practitioner and an educator. Education is an important value that Aeris provides to patients, families, and facility staff. We value a team spirit and a positive attitude. Physician Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients and their medical records
  • Order and study diagnostic tests
  • Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
  • Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases
  • Prescribe medications
  • Maintain accurate records and schedules
  • Inform patients about their health conditions
  • Educate patients on diseases and prevention
  • Monitor patients’ overall health and wellbeing
  • Promote positive health practices
  • Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
  • Communicate well with Aeris Medical Group staff, facility staff, and the patient's family

Physician Skills:

  • Proven experience as Physician in a post-acute, hospital, ER or other setting
  • Expertise in geriatric care, primary care, acute care and chronic care practices
  • Knowledge of health and patient care regulations in the State of Minnesota
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong ethics and high integrity
  • Team spirit with a can-do attitude
  • High level of Patience
  • A drive to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
  • Valid Minnesota medical license and DEA

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $220,000.00 - $280,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
