Plant Operator

As part of our commitment to environmental stewardship, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Operator to join our team at our state-of-the-art Solar Panel Recycling Facility.

Position Overview:

As a Plant Operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our Solar Panel Recycling Facility. You will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining various equipment and machinery involved in the recycling process to ensure smooth operations and maximum productivity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to environmental sustainability by playing a key role in the recycling of solar panels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate and monitor machinery and equipment used in the recycling process, including shredders, crushers, separators, and conveyor systems.

2. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.

3. Monitor production processes to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions promptly.

4. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

5. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.

6. Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment maintenance, and inventory levels.

7. Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and products as required.

8. Adhere to environmental regulations and guidelines related to the recycling process.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical or electrical fields is preferred.

2. Proven experience operating machinery and equipment in an industrial or manufacturing setting, preferably in recycling or waste management.

3. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery.

4. Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for working in an industrial environment.

5. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and SOPs accurately.

6. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

7. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy objects as required.

8. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
