We're not like other pool companies and we are proud of it!

No experience needed. We offer thorough one-on-one training with better than average compensation and room for promotions within our company.

We are Hodge Pool Service, a small family business that cares deeply about it's employees and we are looking for an outstanding, trustworthy member for our team who will grow with us as we expand in our hometown of Venice.

Job Description

Work independently on a tight route of 80 pools, all in Venice and Nokomis
Rate expected is approximately 3 pools per hour
Brush walls of pool
Empty skimmer baskets
Balance chemistry
Clean filters
Vacuum as needed
Communicate with customers during service
Use company provided phone to send customer reports
Show initiative
Eagerness to learn other areas of the business

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license
Clean driving record
Clean criminal record
Must be able to stand on feet outside for 8 hours a day
Must be able to lift 2.5 gal chlorine jugs and carry from vehicle to pool
Requires stooping, bending, etc.

Training Schedule

One-on-one training for 4 weeks
32-35 hours/week
$18/hour

Compensation

Direct deposit is on the 1st and 15th of the month
After training, pay begins at $9/pool with eligibility for a pay raise to $10.50/pool after one year of service
Additional pools will be added to your route as new accounts are acquired
Health Insurance NOT provided
No official PTO, but we give one week paid for Christmas to New Years, take off most other major holidays, and if you have a planned vacation, we will work with your schedule

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
