The two-year program is designed to train the next generation of leaders in pharmacoepidemiology; it will provide advanced hands-on experience in pharmacoepidemiology studies and analyses leveraging the breadth and depth of the US Veterans Health Administration national healthcare databases.

The program is designed to provide mastery of state-of-the-art methods in causal inference and pharmacoepidemiology including target trial emulation, high dimensional data methodologies and bias calibration. Fellows will have hands-on-experience in designing innovative studies, developing analysis plans, performing and interpreting statistical analyses, and developing research publications and presentations.
