Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a small Catholic School environment. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that foster growth across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains.

Duties

• Design and implement lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, and math.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques.
• Support children’s social-emotional development by promoting cooperation, empathy, and self-regulation skills.
• Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress and address individual needs.
• Conduct assessments to monitor developmental milestones.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and lesson plans.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
• Proven experience in classroom management and curriculum development for preschool.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists.
• Excellent organizational skills for lesson planning, classroom setup, and documentation.
