Prepress Specialist Graphic Designer (plate making experience preferred)

Tri M Graphics is looking to add a Prepress Specialist/Graphic Designer with plate making experience to our team. We strive to build relationships with our clients through innovation and integrity. Tri M Graphics is a 40+ year old family-owned commercial printing company located in Owatonna, MN that focuses on Strategy | Design | Print | Mail.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare jobs for press including: Making plates; Creating print-ready artwork; Adding bleeds
• Print large format proofs and posters
• Manage assigned equipment and supplies.
• Work with clients to create designs from conception to finished product.
• Ensure the quality of final product before release.

Skills and Experience:

• 2 – 4 years relevant work experience or education (Plate Making experience preferred)
• Experience with XMF workflow, Pit Stop, Adobe Suite, Mac OS, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• Typing skill – 25 words a minute
• Required to lift or carry 40 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
