Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves providing individualized support to students, helping them achieve their academic goals while promoting confidence and a love for learning.

Duties

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
• Assist students with homework, test preparation, and understanding of curriculum material.
• Develop engaging lesson plans and educational activities that align with the curriculum.
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies as necessary to ensure comprehension.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers regarding student performance and areas for improvement.
• Implement classroom management techniques to maintain a focused and productive learning environment.
• Support students with special education needs by adapting materials and approaches as required.

Experience

• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is preferred, particularly in a classroom setting.
• Background in childcare or early childhood education is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with curriculum development and classroom management practices is beneficial.
• Experience working with students of various ages and learning abilities, including those requiring special education support.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students and their families.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
