Production Assistant

Do you enjoy working with plant medicine? Resonance Apothecary is looking for a self-driven and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our growing team of medicine people.

Resonance Apothecary creates vibrational medicine tools that act as tuning forks for the frequency of health and vitality. Everything in these special creations has spirit. Our team handcrafts plant medicines that restore balance to the emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual bodies of our clients.

We are currently open to welcoming an integral position on our Vibrational Medicine team. The Production Assistant role requires a solid work ethic, dependability, a commitment to high quality, and strong organizational skills. Attention to detail is key. The Production Assistant is consistent, works with efficiency, and is part of the production team, but works well independently. This role will require work to be done from our shop, located in Berkeley, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build out monthly subscription boxes, packing items in a timely manner and paying great attention to detail
• Maintain accurate inventory and order supplies as needed for monthly subscription boxes
• Communicate needs to the Manager in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean work station and follow food handling and sanitation requirements in order to maintain cleanliness standards and local, State and Federal agencies' regulations and requirements
• Assist in the creation of products such as holy waters, oils, teas, etc. - this includes mixing of ingredients, labeling bottles, piecing together bottles and tops, etc.

AVAILABILITY

• Availability to work from the shop located in Berkeley, CA, during weekdays
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and adhere to a blackout period over the holidays

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be located within the Bay Area, CA
• Experience with packing and labeling items for shipping
• Flexibility with schedule; the amount of work fluctuates depending on business needs at a given time
• Available to work in-person and work 2-3 days a week (5 - 6hr shifts)
• Has a car that can fit boxes of production items
• Has the ability to drive to and from the production site to pick up and drop off product materials
• Has integrity with the handling and production of products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-2 years of product retail experience or Food-related work experience
• Experience with packing and labeling items for resale
• Inclination to, or previous experience with, plant medicine

ADDITIONAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• This job requires the ability to move, lift, carry, pull or push light objects or materials (products, bottles, boxes, etc)
• ​HEALTH & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS Complies with all state and county mandates regarding the Shelter in Place order, and any safety and sanitation measures designed to ensure safety in the workplace as well as in the community.

Job Type: Part-Time Employee, 25 hours per week.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
