The Opportunity:

We're seeking a Production Compounder for our Hazleton facility. Dober’s Hazleton, PA facility manufactures and distributes specialty liquid chemicals which are shipped throughout the world. The Production Compounder position will fill an important role within our company. The production position is required to assist with all levels of the manufacturing process..

The main responsibilities will include:

A Production Compounder at our Dober plant will be responsible for quality production of Dober products. The position requires accurate and carefully completion of all chemical batches according to the specific details from batch instructions. The position is focused on quality products being manufactured and delivered to Dober customers on a timely basis.

  • Production of Dober chemical cleaners, using previous chemical blending experience
  • Responsible for accurately blending or mixing various chemical formulations to produce quality finished goods that meet customer specifications.
  • Responsible for product staging, production and packaging.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of both batch and warehouse area.
  • Use and be familiar with a variety of chemical pumps and material handling devices.
  • Willing to follow manufacture process from start all the way to completion and packaging.
  • Required to accurately follow all required safety policies and procedures.
  • Will be required to wear proper PPE equipment as necessary.
  • Able to assist with accurate inventory maintenance.
  • Previous experience with liquid blending.

Required Qualifications / Experience:

  • Knowledge of proper production procedures.
  • Previous experience working with forklifts.
  • Must have and be able to work with basic mathematical skills
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
