Production Coordinator

BloodHorse LLC is a dynamic multimedia company that produces the BloodHorse monthly magazine, an industry-leading website at Bloodhorse.com, the newly launched BH+, a web-based subscription section featuring premium contect, and BloodHorse Daily, a PDF and mobile news service providing analysis and updates for racing and breeding professionals. BloodHorse also manages a broad range of social media platforms. It publishes a range of other respected Thoroughbred industry-focused publications as well.

We are seeking a part-time production coordinator to coordinate the planning and production of trusted thoroughbred auction publication.

Part-time Auction Edge/Stallion Register position

Seasonal position with most of the work required during the second half of the year. Position works roughly 35 weeks per year and 20 hours per week.

Primary responsibilities are to serve as back-up for production of Auction Edge and to assist with the writing/proofing of Stallion Register statistical pages. This position may also assist with keeping stallion locations and stud fees updated in the stallion database. This is not a remote position and would require the applicant to work in the office.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable about Thoroughbred breeding and racing
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with both Mac and PC platforms
• Requires attention to details and copy editing and proofing skills
• Familiarity with InDesign a plus but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
