Full job description
Job Summary:
As a Production Manager, you will oversee the manufacturing process within our facility, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to quality standards. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will leverage your expertise in factory management, mechanical knowledge, and assembly line processes to drive productivity. Your leadership and communication skills will be essential in training and developing staff, while your cross-cultural experience will facilitate effective collaboration. Additionally, your experience with 5S methodologies and project management principles (PMP) will enhance our commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Risk Prevention & Management: Organize and implement risk prevention, unit cost analysis, and confidentiality management. Formulate and revise relevant rules, regulations, and operating SOPs, and supervise their execution after approval.
- Production Planning: Organize and implement workshop production plans. Ensure the orderly conduct of production work in the workshop under the PMC plan to maintain production progress.
- Process Management: Manage workshop meetings and coordinate comprehensive workshop activities. Supervise and guide the production process to ensure quality, inspect the work of employees, and address violations. Participate in product quality issue analysis and implement corrective and preventive measures. Oversee self-inspection and mutual inspection during production to prevent non-conforming products from advancing to the next process.
- Site Management: Establish an on-site management system and provide training in on-site management knowledge. Promote the 5S on-site management system to achieve standardized management of production workshops. Assess the implementation of 5S by workshop employees, implement rewards and punishments, and ensure system adherence.
- Safety Management: Implement various production safety systems and conduct regular safety inspections. Control key parts to eliminate safety hazards and prevent accidents. Conduct regular safety training to improve personnel's awareness of safe operations, supervise safety training and fire drills, and guide employees in safe practices.
- Cost Control: Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of original record data in the workshop. Conduct unit cost analysis based on statistical data and formulate actionable cost control measures.
- Employee Management: Organize business training for workshop production employees. Collaborate with human resources to manage employee attendance and performance.
- Additional Tasks: Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant production management experience, with experience in the battery components industry being a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO quality management systems and 5S on-site management.
- Proficiency in office software, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Expertise in production safety management and knowledge of production manufacturing tools such as Six Sigma, TPM, or PMP.
- Strong ability to withstand pressure, communicate effectively, and coordinate organizationally, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proven leadership ability with extensive experience in training production employees.
- Hardworking and adaptable to a considerable degree of overtime.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
