Production Planner/Scheduler

Are you an ERP systems expert with a knack for streamlining production processes? We’re looking for a detail-oriented Production Planner and Scheduler to join our team, where you'll play a key role in optimizing production through the effective use of ERP systems—specifically Epicor. In this position, you’ll manage production and inventory control using MRP within Epicor, ensuring schedules align with capacity, materials, and customer demand. Your expertise in ERP systems will be instrumental in driving efficiency, accuracy, and on-time delivery for both internal and external customers.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate closely with the Production Manager to plan, coordinate, and optimize production schedules.
• Analyze production specifications, identify plant capacity constraints, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collect, organize, and manage essential production data using Epicor and other tools to keep operations running smoothly.
• Swiftly resolve manpower and material shortages to keep production on track.
• Generate and present weekly production status reports to key stakeholders.
• Monitor workflows, ensuring on-time delivery while continuously improving scheduling processes.
• Coordinate materials and equipment to ensure everything is prepped for efficient production.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (production, purchasing, finance) to maintain scheduling parameters and improve performance.
• Maintain accurate outside process tracking using Excel, and ensure material levels meet production needs by setting appropriate min-max quantities.
• Play an integral part in the ongoing maintenance and improvement of our core systems, including Epicor ERP, Excel, and Word.
• Expedite jobs, reconcile orders, and ensure accurate delivery dates to customers.
• Actively contribute to daily meetings, offering insights to optimize production performance.

What You Bring:

• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required.
• 3-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with Epicor ERP systems is highly desirable.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to manage schedules and analyze data.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively with various personality types.
• A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think quickly and address issues as they arise.

Pay: $67,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
