POSITION SUMMARY:

The Women’s Recovery Program Manager is responsible for creating a culture of change and developing ways to help clients find hope for a better future. This position sees individuals not as broken but as their highest and best self, helping clients find opportunities to practice different behaviors, examine their beliefs, and find new ways of being. The heart of this position is taking a stand for connection and relationship, demonstrating that living life in a healthy way demands vulnerability and strong community. This requires creating a positive culture, maintaining and upholding established structures and processes, empowering staff and clients, and leveraging community relationships. Reports to Director of Programming.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintains and oversees program processes, interventions, and elements for efficacy, value alignment, and desired outcomes. Provides clear leadership from Guiding Light’s vision and specific annual goals for outcomes and growth in operations and community partnerships.

2. Manages, coaches, and directs department team including facilitating meetings and huddles, prioritizing work and coordinating schedules.

3. Reviews statistical data and collaborates with the team to make program decisions that will lead to better outcomes and KPI metrics.

4. Monitors client’s progress through the different stages of the program and provides progress updates to staff and clients.

5. Communicates regularly with clients through emails, phone calls, and in person meetings.

6. Oversees the master schedule of all Guiding Light and Ruth’s/Esther’s House activities.

7. Manages operations of Ruth’s House and Esther’s House sober living properties.

8. Seeks continued education through books, trainings, webinars, and classes on behavioral change, transformation, spiritual growth, to create effective programming and relationships.

9. Oversees the coordination of team responsible for the basic upkeep and cleanliness of the recovery facility and Ruth’s/Esther’s House for clients.

10. Oversees kitchen operations including approving menus, managing food pickup and distribution, and coordinating drivers and kitchen helpers.

11. Builds and maintains stakeholder relationships such as major donors, volunteers, community organizations and agencies.

12. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

2. Three (3) to four (4) years of experience leading a team.

3. Valid driver’s license.

4. Teaching certification and/or Life Coaching certification preferred.

5. Spiritual direction training a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

1. Proficient in Microsoft 365 and general computer use.

2. Experience with motivational interviewing and nonviolent communication.

3. Experience with conflict resolution and group dynamics.

4. High emotional intelligence.

5. Empathic listening skills.
