Project Architect / Project Manager

Smith & Company Architects is seeking experienced project architects / designers to join our growing and family oriented team. This opportunity is best suited for those seeking to be involved on the design of large institutional projects with the potential to work on all phases of a project from pre-design to construction. Position offers above average salaries based on experience level. The ideal candidate will possess an architecture license or be in the process of aggressively seeking licensure.

Design Architecture Role:

- Experience with all phases of a design process individually and in teams

- Assist in the development of programming, schematic design, and construction documents.

- Analysis and implementation of building codes, zoning, and ADA regulations

- Coordinate consultants across multiple disciplines i.e. mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, civil, landscape…

- Prepare and submit permit documentation

- Support construction administration efforts

- Participate with current and prospective clients

Qualifications:

- BA/BS or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program

- Proven BIM/Revit related experience

- Minimum 5 years of commercial, educational, and/or multi-family architectural design experience

- Superior Revit drafting and modeling expertise

- Ability to strategically apply Revit expertise to project planning and setup

- Strong organizational, communications (both verbal and written) skills, and leadership abilities

- Ability to work in teams and independently

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
