Make a Difference Where History, Nature, and Community Meet
At the Olympia Tumwater Foundation, we’re writing the next chapter in a legacy that blends natural beauty, historic preservation, education, and community inspiration. We are building a team that is passionate, creative, and driven by purpose. We’re not just maintaining tradition — we’re shaping the future. If you're a dynamic, mission-oriented project leader who wants to be part of a nonprofit that’s on the move, we want to hear from you.
About the Role
The Project Manager will play a central role in delivering high-impact initiatives that advance our mission — from invigorating Brewery Park at Tumwater Falls to expanding educational programs and engaging with the community. You’ll manage multiple projects, engage deeply with partners and stakeholders, and help us bring inspiring ideas to life!
What You’ll Do
- Lead multiple projects from idea to execution — defining goals, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring strong outcomes
- Build lasting relationships with community partners, contractors, volunteers, and stakeholders
- Support mission-driven fundraising efforts, including the “Friends of the Falls” campaign and other revenue-generating initiatives
- Administer educational and scholarship programs in collaboration with Foundation staff
- Promote Foundation projects and events in partnership with marketing and communications teams
- Track project progress, assess outcomes, and prepare regular updates for internal use
- Oversee volunteer involvement for events and initiatives, ensuring smooth coordination and engagement
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum of 3 years of experience managing projects with autonomy and accountability
- Background in nonprofits, community initiatives, or mission-driven organizations is a plus
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Confident with budgets, timelines, and reporting
- A self-starter with the flexibility to adapt and the drive to get things done
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
What You’ll Get
- An opportunity to work on interesting and inspiring projects that support our community!
- Monthly salary ranging from $5,792–$6,417
- High-quality healthcare plan (medical, dental, vision)
- Retirement plan with employer match
- Generous PTO, sick leave, and paid holidays
- Flexible work arrangements and a supportive team culture
