Heritage Audio Visual is in search for qualified full-time Project Manager to work in a corporate/ hospitality environment. The Audio Visual Project Manager position is client facing and is responsible for creating positive, meaningful relationships with clients and driving projects from beginning to end with focus on quality control and customer service.

Project Mangers will be responsible for managing Audio Visual Technicians including gathering of necessary equipment as indicated on internal work order. Technicians will set up, tear down, operate, maintain and repair equipment used to enhance live events, such as microphones, video recorders, projectors, lighting and sound mixing equipment in a hospitality environment. Record meetings and presentations with video cameras, operate spotlights, adjust amplifiers, coordinate graphics used in displays and provide technical support for teleconferences, webinars and distance-learning classes. Equipment will be set up by technicians according to the set requirements set forth by the client and under the direct supervision of the Project Manager. Removal of Equipment immediately following event, deliver and return to proper storage area.

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • Develop objectives, project requirements, and manage project risk and constraints
  • Act as liaison between project stakeholders
  • Quality control and inventory of all audio visual equipment both at corporate office and out on job site
  • Set up, tear down, operate, maintain and repair equipment used to enhance live events, such as microphones, video recorders, projectors, lighting and sound mixing equipment in a hospitality environment
  • Record meetings and presentations with video cameras, operate spotlights, adjust amplifiers, coordinate graphics used in displays and provide technical support for teleconferences, webinars and distance-learning classes
  • Removal of equipment immediately following event, deliver and return to proper storage area
  • Coordinate all project deliverables
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or 3+ years of project management experience in the audio visual industry in a corporate or hospitality setting
  • Experience in leading a crew audio visual technicians, site supervision, managing technical resources and technology roll-outs
  • Prior experience with Project Management, managing staff and resource scheduling and tracking
  • Must possess a current, valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for operations of company vehicles.

Necessary Attributes:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and strong presentation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive project plans
  • Ability to organize and moderate in person project meetings as well as audio/video conferences with project stakeholders on a regular basis

Compensation will commensurate with experience.

This position is in a corporate environment. We do not operate on a movie set or execute concert audio visual.
