Reports to: VP of Business Operations

Status: Full-Time

Classification: Exempt

Travel: Up to 10%

Salary Range: $65 - $80k per year + yearly performance bonus

Job Summary

The Project Manager position is a member of the Operations and Project Management team responsible for leading teams through technical projects focused on software development, collaboration, and contact center projects. The Project Manager will coordinate activities, manage project expectations, and serve as the primary point of contact for partners and customers during the life of each project.

Occasional travel may be required depending on project and customer requirements. This position will be located at Cloverhound Headquarters in downtown Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal team members to ensure project success.
  • Review statements of work with customers to ensure expectations are properly set at the beginning of each project.
  • Track and ensure project resources are utilized effectively to deliver projects successfully on time and within budget.
  • Ensure project documentation requiring signatures are properly presented, understood, and signed by necessary stakeholders.
  • Develop communication plans and set communication expectations to various members of the project team.
  • Participate in setting up, monitoring, and approving timesheets and expenses.
  • Coordinate the sign-off and billing of project milestones as project activities are completed.
  • Monitor costs associated with each project.
  • Understand each customer’s change management process and ensure project team adheres to appropriate change management procedures.
  • Identify out of scope requests and work with customer/partner to document those requests and deliver change orders as needed.
  • Coordinate scheduling of resources across Cloverhound, partners, customers, and additional vendors that may be engaged in projects.
  • Write and review documentation to effectively communicate project details internally and externally.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously as needed.
  • Supports the IT ticketing system by providing incident logging and categorization management support to help maximize efficient ticket closures and turnaround times.
  • Ensures incidents are organized and prioritized based on the appropriate level of disruption to the customers business.
  • Diligently monitor support tickets daily and efficiently to ensure the customer always has access to the latest updates on their issue.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience performing project management for projects. (Project management of contact center, IVR, collaboration, or software development projects a plus).
  • Ability to communicate technical requirements and status updates to project stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation as needed including action items, issues lists and risk mitigation plans.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite or MSOffice applications in particular word processing, presentations and spreadsheets.
  • Working knowledge of project management software for e.g., Smartsheet, MS project, basecamp is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within information technology.
  • Experience leading technical projects.
