Job Title: Structural Project Manager – Houston, TX, Phoenix, AZ, or College Station, TX

Job Description: H2B Engineers and Design is seeking a dynamic Structural Project Manager with a P.E. license to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across the greater Houston area, Central Texas, and nationwide. The ideal candidate will be based in Houston but remote work options are available. We also have team members in Florida, Arizona, and Colorado.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development of construction drawings and specifications for industrial, commercial, medical, corporate, and education projects.
  • Manage project prioritization, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with other disciplines.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, EITs, and drafters.
  • Ensure project delivery adheres to schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate design elements with other design disciplines.
  • Conduct meetings with clients, governmental agencies, and team members.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client meetings.
  • Occasional travel (1-2 days per quarter) may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas.
  • 5-10 years of relevant design and project management experience.
  • NCEES registration as a Model Law engineer is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, codes, and ordinances.
  • Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in technical computations, understanding plans, and specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Structural Engineering license with ability to obtain licensure in California.
  • Master’s degree with a concentration in Structural Engineering.
  • Experience designing commercial building structures.
  • Proactive, organized, and client-service oriented.
