Job Duties Include:
- Coordination with maintenance supervisor and vendors for upkeep and maintenance of properties
- Oversee rent collection enforcement, including evictions, and notices
- Property inspections
- Admin duties and reporting as required
- Communication and coordination with tenants regarding all matters of their tenancy, including: rent payment/billing, complaints/disputes, follow-up from inspections, general questions/assistance, lease renewals
- Communication with owners regarding all matters of the property, including: subcontractors and vendor coordination, confirming tenancies, property inspections, general questions/assistance, improvements, and maintenance
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion to handle and resolve resident requests or concerns
- After hour emergency phone rotation.
- Utilize personal vehicle for work-related travel to various locations within the designated area.
- Plan and execute the most efficient travel routes to meet schedule and conserve fuel.
- Maintain accurate travel and mileage logs for reimbursement purposes.
Required Qualifications:
- College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
- Professional property management certifications preferred
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and ownership of a reliable vehicle
- At least 3 years of experience working in property management, 5 years preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong general computing skills, proficiency with Google products, Email and Web usage.
- 3 -5 years of budgeting, variance reporting, and delinquency reporting required.
- Experience with Appfolio Property Manager preferred
- Interest in furthering a career in property management or real estate
- Ability to maintain a professional and positive demeanor at all times
- This job is based out of the NWV office, remote work is not available for this position
Compensation:
- $24 - $28/hr depending on experience
- Full time benefits after initial trial period, including employer matched 401K, medical, dental, vision, vacation, sick-time, and paid holidays.
- Mileage Reimbursement at the federal rate for all work-related travel.
