Proposal Writer

H2B Engineers and Design is on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Proposal Writer to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is perfect for someone who is organized, a self-starter, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll play a key role in proposal development, production, and various marketing initiatives, ensuring our team’s successes are communicated effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proposal Development: Develop, edit, and proofread multi-page proposals, including research, writing, and editing non-technical sections.
• Technical Coordination: Organize large amounts of technical information, including photography, subconsultant data, and marketing qualifications.
• Production Efforts: Lead proposal production and interview presentations, coordinating with team leaders, project managers, architects, and engineers to meet internal deadlines.
• Content Creation: Utilize graphics such as photos, graphs, and charts to enhance communication within written and electronic documents.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with team members in-person, over the phone, and via written correspondence (email, website, social media).
• Project Management: Administer multiple projects independently, balancing priorities and deadlines amidst ongoing changes.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ marketing experience in the A/E/C industry, with familiarity in the RFQ/RFP process.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Media/PR, Business, or a related field.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Graphic design knowledge with experience in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong editing and grammatical skills.
• Ability to coordinate and organize large volumes of technical information.
• Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Preferred: Knowledge and experience with Standard Form 330 preparation is a plus.
