Job Title: Psychometrist/Psychologist

Reports To: Clinical Director

Base Pay: Pay is per case and determined based upon experience

Essential Functions:

Perspectives Psychological Resources, LLC (Perspectives LLC) is currently seeking a Psychometrist, preferably a Predoctoral or Postdoctoral or Early Career Psychologist with specialty in testing and assessment with individuals with developmental disability and traumatic stress.

Perspectives, LLC is a psychology and wellness practice located in Brookhaven and Union City, GA.

Our mission at Perspectives is to develop change agents in families and communities, to empower youth to recognize their skills and talents, and to assist in producing positive behavioral, emotional, adaptive, and social outcomes for youth and families. It is our vision to empower, focus, engage, and uplift communities and families with traumatic experiences and children with developmental challenges. We have expanded our assessment program to include psychological testing for youth and adults and need culturally competent and caring mental health professionals who are passionate about empowering youth, teens, parents and adults to live healthy and purpose-driven lives to join our team.

Desired applicants are those who received training from a doctoral-level program in psychology or completed a psychometry program. Applicants with Master's Degrees and extensive training and experience with psychometry for children with developmental disabilities are also encouraged to apply. Individuals are encouraged to have a Georgia license but may be actively pursuing licensure for the state of Georgia. Persons interested in this position must have:

Requirements:

· at least 2 year(s) experience with psychological testing with children

· at least 1 year experience with psychological testing and assessment for diagnoses related to developmental concerns for children with developmental disabilities INCLUDING use of the ADOS, and with diagnoses such as ADHD, ASD, Learning disability, Speech/Language disorders, PTSD, mood and behavioral disorders for youth

· at least 1-2 year(s) experience working with underserved, at-risk populations, PREFERENCE given to experiences with bilingual, or primarily Spanish-speaking families

· at least 1 year experience working with youth and/or adults with traumatic stress, anxiety, behavioral- or emotional-based diagnoses, PREFERENCE given to experiences with bilingual, or primarily Spanish-speaking families

· Interest or experience with completing prior authorization for testing in private practice settings

· Organizational skills to manage a flexible work schedule to include one main practice location (Brookhaven office) and hybrid telepractice assessments

· The ability to maintain a case load in private practice based on current and new referral sources and contracted sources. The ability to complete timely assessment reports within 2 weeks of completed testing.

· Clinical experience with ABA or child based behavioral strategies preferred.
