The Indiana Council of Community Mental Health Centers (Council), a state membership association of community mental health centers (CMHCs), is hiring a Quality Assurance Data Analyst to implement quality control tasks and processes that routinely measure data quality and positive data outcomes to effectively grow data sources. The person will be responsible for fostering relationships with out CMHCs (community mental health centers) and ensuring alignment with the Council’s strategic visions and objections.


The Council’s mission is to optimize the health and wellbeing of all people in Indiana through mental health leadership, collaboration & advocacy. The Council represents the collective interests of all Community Mental Health Centers currently certified and accredited to provide community-based behavioral health services across all ninety-two counties in Indiana. CMHCs in Indiana served close to 300,000 behavioral health and substance use consumers this past year. The Council provides the following services to its members –

- Public Policy and Government Relations

- Committees, work groups and taskforces that provide opportunity to help shape the future of mental health and substance use services in Indiana.

- Education and Training

- National Memberships


Reporting to the President, the Quality Assurance Data Analyst will serve as the lead staff person in delivery data quality improvements. Fulfilling this role will require strong communications skills and close teamwork with the President and Chief Administrative Officer.


Monitor and manage large data sets that are tracked through various data systems.

Present data quality trends and findings to internal and external stakeholders, as needed.

Work closely with data owners, data users, and data custodians (IT) to ensure the root cause of reported data issues are understood and underlying problems, as well as associated symptoms, are resolved.

Collaborate across multiple departments related to data collection and data management.

Delivering data quality improvement initiates as defined, agreed, and prioritized.

Systematically assess and evaluate data consumption processes by reviewing new and existing data sources.

Implement quality control tasks and processes that routinely measure data quality and positive data outcomes to effectively grow data sources, maintain existing CMHC customers that support the expansion of CMHC customers to achieve revenue targets.

Intake and deliver data downstream into production to support the ongoing operational needs to the Council.


Required Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates who are self-starters, skilled communicators, and natural relationship builders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or the equivalent in relevant training or experience preferred, but will also consider Associate’s degree
  • Knowledge of community mental health.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets for trends and patterns.
  • Strong logical reasoning skills.
  • Experience using and developing data profiling routines and data quality.
  • Ability to prioritize and troubleshoot data consumption and data quality problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as with a team.
  • Ability to think critically, to anticipate, and to act strategically.
  • Ability to work well with a wide range of people and entities.
  • Personal integrity and good judgment, ability to build and maintain trust, maintain confidentiality.
  • Competence with the Internet and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.


· Indoor work, operating computer, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, repetitive motion. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator.

· Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business related events, as needed.


Salary range is:$65,000-$70,000. DOE. This is a full-time, 40 hours/week position. Benefits package includes health insurance, employer retirement contributions and generous leave.
