Social Assurance is a SaaS (Software as a Service) company providing marketing, communication, content management, community engagement software, and services to community-focused brands and organizations. Its customer base is international in scope and focuses on regulated industries within financial services, education, and the public sector.
Social Assurance is looking for a Quality Assurance Intern to join our team for summer 2025 and the upcoming fall semester. As a QA Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting product testing efforts and helping ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. You’ll collaborate directly with our development team and play a meaningful role in identifying bugs and improving user experience across our platform.

Your Qualities:

Your Responsibilities:
- Test application functionality across devices and browsers during product release cycles
- Conduct daily checks on application performance and API reliability
- Monitor, document, and report bugs or issues to the product manager
- Collaborate with the product manager and developers to identify QA needs and priorities
- Assist the helpdesk team in diagnosing and documenting user-reported bugs
What You’ll Learn:
- How to test web and mobile applications for functionality, performance, and user experience
- How to write and manage bug reports and QA documentation
- How to use QA tools and platforms
- How to collaborate with product teams and developers
- How to identify patterns in issues and help improve product quality proactively
Qualifications
- Enrolled full-time in a college or university program (Computer Science or a related field preferred)
- Familiarity with software testing concepts and a desire to learn QA best practices
- Strong communication skills and the ability to document findings clearly (written and verbal)
- Ability to commit 10–15 hours per week during the semester
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
