Quality Assurance Technician

G&S Foods is a central PA based snack food company operating in Hanover, PA. We are a co-manufacturer of sweet and salty snacks from popcorn to chocolate-covered pretzels. The Quality Assurance Technician position is responsible for

• Testing product to ensure that it meets customer specifications, including weights of products, percentages of ingredients, and label requirements
• Properly record of all testing completed on products
• Report nonconformity with product to supervisor on duty
• Prepare and send samples of new products to customers as requested
• Position is primarily on first shift, must cover second and third shift as needed (will be given proper notice)

Qualifications:

• Previous quality assurance in a food industry required
• Must able to work various shifts
• Detail oriented
• Communication
• Able and willing to work overtime as needed

Shift Time:

• 2nd shift: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm-10:30pm
• 3rd shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10:30pm-6:30am
