What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Quality Initiatives: Drive quality at the source by encouraging all team members to take ownership of the products they work on.
  • Customer-Focused Solutions: Collaborate with customers to review non-conformances, lead root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions that ensure their satisfaction.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Oversee in-process, receiving, and final inspections, becoming the go-to expert in gage selection, calibration, and training for operators.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in identifying and driving opportunities for process improvement, ensuring we stay ahead of industry standards.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to resolve product quality issues and ensure smooth operations.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-4 years experience in a Quality Engineering role.
  • 1-2 years of experience in high-precision manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—especially in customer-facing roles.
  • Ability to lead and motivate others toward achieving quality excellence.
  • Preferred (But Not Required) Skills:
  • Experience with CMM programming (PC-DMIS, PolyWorks).
  • ASQ certifications (CQE, CRE) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks, CAD/CAM, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Knowledge of medical device validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), CAPA, and AIAG PPAP requirements.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes like turning and molding.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
