Reach Truck Driver

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Reach Truck Driver, is responsible for quickly and accurately transferring items to the pick locations and warehouse bins while following all department safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize warehouse management system to replenish pick locations within the facility.
• Must be able to operate warehouse equipment such as a pallet jack, forklift, and/or a reach truck to lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials within the warehouse.
• Perform mass material moves from overhead bins in warehouse to bulk staging areas for picking.
• Load and unload materials onto or off pallets as required.
• Monitor and maintain powered industrial equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts or reach trucks to always ensure proper functioning.

Requirements:

• High School Education
• Excels in time management, multi-tasking and balancing multiple requests at one time.
• Demonstrates the ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require; rotate to other department functions as needed.
• Must be able to read, write, and have sufficient English speaking ability.
• Have basic math skills.
• Proven ability to operate & use all functions of powered equipment, such as the electric pallet jack, forklift & reach truck, within established safety protocols and procedures.
• Must be willing to work in all warehouse functions, to include, but are not limited to, loading/unloading of trucks & containers, wrapping & unwrapping pallets, boxing & unboxing product, etc.

Other Job Demands:

• Some overtime and Saturdays may be required.
• Willing and able to work in a hot and cold warehouse environment.
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 75 lbs.
• Extended periods standing / walking / bending / stooping / kneeling on concrete floors.
