We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team as a professional Real Estate Agent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about real estate and either eager to kickstart their career in the industry or someone who has been in the industry, and interested in joining a formal team atmosphere with the support and benefits that entails. If you are an Entry-Level Real Estate Agent, you will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to help you succeed in this dynamic and rewarding field.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with all the stages of buying and selling real estate, and solving real estate problems.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential properties and stay updated on market trends.
  • Schedule and conduct property viewings with clients.
  • Provide guidance and advice to clients on property prices, mortgages, and legal requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms of sale or lease on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with other real estate agents, mortgage lenders, and attorneys to facilitate transactions.
  • Prepare and review documents such as purchase agreements, contracts, and leases.
  • Maintain and update listings on various platforms, ensuring accurate and compelling property descriptions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay informed about local zoning laws, property taxes, and regulations affecting real estate transactions.
  • Participate in community projects our team is involved in, several times per year.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required. Associate's college degree preferred, but not required.
  • A valid Maine Sales Agent, or higher, license. If you are still in or recently passed the exam, and are selected for this position, you are eligible for reimbursement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Community-minded is a requirement. We do several community projects each year and participation is expected.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Comfortable learning and using a variety of real estate software and tools.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed in sales.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Passion for real estate and helping clients achieve their goals.
