Position Summary
The Receptionist and Registrar is the “face” of Wyatt Academy. This position welcomes families and students each day and supports recruitment and registrar duties to ensure enrollment, grades, and attendance data are up to date. Professional attire, excellent organizational skills, and a positive attitude are required for this position. Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
Receptionist Duties:
- Greets and assists students, families, and other visitors.
- Receives and directs incoming calls, takes reliable messages, and routes to appropriate staff.
- Assists parents in checking students in and out of school.
- Maintains visitor log and issues visitor passes.
- Receives, sorts, and distributes mail, messages, documents, and other deliveries.
- Assists with the preparation of materials for mailing, including preparing labels, stuffing envelopes.
- Maintains confidentiality of student and school information.
- Is the health aide when the school nurse is not present.
- Models the school’s values and sets the standard for professional behavior.
- Uses technology effectively for administrative, instructional, and communications functions.
- Plans and organizes field trips
Registrar Duties:
- Is the in-house expert for all items relating to Infinite Campus (grades, schedules, attendance, etc).
- Supports the Choice enrollment process and summer enrollment.
- Responsible for updating and entering all student household information into Infinite Campus, assigning classrooms, and assigning teachers.
- Responsible for student scheduling, grade reporting, and requesting and sending student records.
- Manages attendance reporting, calls, and incentive programs.
- Manages October Count communication and reporting.
- Responsible for obtaining MLL information, uploading, and scheduling everything on time.
Qualifications Required:
- Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must successfully pass reference checks, background checks and/or licensure verification.
- At least 2 years Reception/Clerical experience required. Previous experience in an educational environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Proven capability to manage detailed information and comprehensive records.
- Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
- Daily professional dress is required for this position.
Computer Skills Required:
- Demonstrated computer skills to include Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Desktop publishing, and additional database programs.
- 2+ years experience with Infinite Campus preferred.
- Canva experience desired.
- Accuracy and speed in data processing required.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $40,000-$45,000 per year 220 contact days. This position is off for holidays and school breaks (Fall break, winter break, spring break,etc.)
- Schedule: This position will begin in July with varied hours - From August to June the schedule is 7:30 - 4:00 weekdays.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
