What You Will Do (Essential Functions)
· Perform all opening/closing duties as assigned.
· Answer phones and greet walk in guests promptly, taking messages when necessary.
· Open/close gift shop while keeping items in gift shop stocked
· Maintain coffee station
· Keep lobby area clean
· Check out storage keys to tenants
· Maintain a daily log for gym/racquetball guests
· Keep office stocked with brochures, rental applications, resident move in folders, notice to vacate packets, and event room rental agreements
· Make sure gym/racquetball facilities and VIP room are clean
The Job Details
Job Type: Part Time
Schedule: 16-24 hrs a week. Hours and days may vary. Either 8am to 2pm or 2pm to 8pm.
Starting Salary: $16.45
Required Skills:
Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional assistance to tenants, guests, and co-workers.
Multitasking and an ability to remain calm under pressure: Receptionist may simultaneously deal with frustrated customers, multiple phone calls, and interruptions. An effective receptionist can manage stressful situations and remain calm under pressure.
Reliability: A reliable receptionist arrives punctually at work each day. They answer phone calls swiftly and make sure the front desk is never unmonitored. These individuals take responsibility for their work, and their colleagues can depend on them.
Practice active listening: To listen actively, give the speaker your full attention and listen carefully to what they say. Allow them to finish speaking before you respond. Ask questions if necessary and repeat what the speaker said to confirm your understanding.
Be professional; Cultivate a professional image by being courteous with everyone. Maintaining a positive work ethic. Dress in a professional manner, maintain personal hygiene and make sure clothing is clean, neat, and undamaged.
Education
A high school diploma or equivalent Perks
· Six paid holidays
· Paid Vacation Days – 1 week after the first year, and then 2 weeks after the third year.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Standing sitting, walking lifting, carrying, reaching handling, kneeling, crouching, and bending.
· Maybe required to assist in moving tables and chairs.
· Approximate maximum weight is 25 lbs.
