Don’t have experience in pest control? No big deal.

Our ideal candidate has just three years of human resources experience and one year of payroll experience. Of course, prior experience in the service industry is a plus, but not a must-have.

Summary
The Recruiter/HR Generalist will support company operations by recruiting, hiring, training all personnel. Daily duties include preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating; explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees; ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed. Responsible for the processes and systems related to the service of our employees throughout the company.

Essential Duties

  • Conduct inbound and outbound recruiting for all positions within the company.
  • Guide candidates and management through recruiting period.
  • Facilitate “awesome onboarding.”
  • Maintaining company calendar including paid time off.
  • Assist management team in tracking and documenting employee evaluations, including initial training programs for new staff.
  • Update and maintain NPMA Quality Pro Standards
  • Liaison with safety training program.
  • Update Viva Engage communications.
  • Manage UKG
  • Manage Mineral - internal HR Dashboard, and training.
  • Prepare required OSHA reports and oversee all OSHA logs.
  • Ensure Human Resource Information System is current, such as contact list, employee emails, and CRM logins.
  • Maintain proper documentation on all employee incidents, accidents, and worker’s comp issues, and perform investigations when necessary.
  • Process payroll for company employees twice a month via QuickBooks Online payroll and related tax reports.
  • Conduct internal audits regarding benefits and payroll deductions.
  • File all necessary reporting documents in accordance with applicable federal and state employment laws.
  • Maintain employee CEU with the Department of Agriculture.

Requirements

  • Strong computer skills
  • Able to work more than 40 hours when necessary to meet tight deadlines.
  • Available for occasional overnight travel between branch offices & conferences.
  • 3 years of human resources experience and 1 year of payroll experience

Pay: $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
