Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work directly with individuals with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in providing support to clients and their families, fostering positive behavioral changes, and enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.

Duties

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Assist clients in developing social skills, communication, and daily living skills through structured activities.
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes accurately for ongoing assessment.
  • Maintain medical documentation and care plans to ensure compliance with best practices in behavioral health.
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to provide comprehensive support for clients.
  • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Provide patient care with empathy, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all clients.

Qualifications

  • Experience in implementing behavioral therapy programs and collecting data
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field
  • Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
  • Must have reliable transportation for your shift
  • Part-time and full-time positions are available

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
