Job Overview:
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you'll work directly with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You'll be an essential part of our team, implementing individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in the natural environment of the child's home.
What You'll Do:
- Implement Individualized Behavior Intervention Plans: You'll use evidence-based ABA techniques to teach new skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and promote independence in areas like communication, social interaction, daily living, and play.
- Collect Data and Track Progress: Accurate data collection is crucial in ABA. You'll meticulously track the child's progress, providing valuable information to the BCBA to make data-driven decisions about the treatment plan.
- Collaborate with BCBAs and Families: You'll work closely with the BCBA to ensure the consistent implementation of the treatment plan. You'll also communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing feedback and support to generalize skills across environments.
- Create a Fun and Supportive Learning Environment: We believe learning should be enjoyable! You'll use your creativity and enthusiasm to create engaging therapy sessions that make a positive impact on the child's life.
What You'll Need:
- Active RBT Certification from the BACB: This is a must-have for this role.
- Current CPR Certification: Your safety and the safety of our clients are paramount.
- Clean Background Check: We prioritize the well-being of the children we serve.
- Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation: You'll be traveling to client homes.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You'll be interacting with children, families, and other professionals.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: This is the minimum educational requirement.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, etc.) is preferred. Candidates with a bachelor's degree are eligible for a higher starting pay rate.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
