Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide direct support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is essential in implementing behavior intervention plans and assisting clients in achieving their personal goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to improving the lives of those they serve through effective behavior management strategies.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect and maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist clients with daily living skills and promote independence through patient care techniques.
- Engage in behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors effectively.
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health.
- Conduct research data collection as needed for program evaluation and improvement.
Skills
- Proficient in medical documentation practices and maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and adherence to privacy standards.
- Strong background in behavior management techniques and strategies for effective intervention.
- Familiarity with medical records management systems.
- Ability to collect and analyze research data relevant to behavioral health practices.
- Experience working with children, providing support in both individual and group settings.
- Strong assisting skills, enabling effective support for clients during therapy sessions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interactions with clients, families, and team members.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
