Registered Nurse

Job Overview
Camphill Hudson is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team.

This part-time position will oversee health care services for members of our residential homes, such as medication administration, treatments, and implementation of plans of nursing services.

This is a 24-hour per week job (three 8-hour weekdays TBD) with an hourly rate of $35-40 (depending on experience and qualifications).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee medical care and follow-up for residents.
• Act as liaison with healthcare providers, scheduling appointments and interpreting reports.
• Complete nursing assessments and collaborate on care plans with program staff.
• Train individuals and staff on health-related issues and medication administration.
• Maintain accurate medical records and medication regimen reviews.
• Conduct site visits and ensure adherence to medical procedures and policies.
• Ensure availability of first aid and nursing supplies across sites
• Provide nursing-specific clinical, consultative, and instructional assistance.
• Maintain accurate medical records and medication regimen reviews
• Fill weekly medication box of residents.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• Have a minimum of 2 years' professional nursing experience.
• Have a valid NYS Driver's License.
• Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to work effectively with adults with developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
